This is to advise all members that a tentative Bargaining Agreement
(July 1, 2023 to December 31, 2028) has been reached with the Employer.
A Ratification Meeting will be held on MONDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 at Sheraton Cavalier
@ 612 Spadina Crescent East (Centre Room – main floor) commencing at 6:00p.m.
Members will have until 8:00p.m. to cast their ballot.
DETAILS of the settlement will be released at the Ratification Meeting on September 16, 2024.
There is NO provision in CUPE Local 59 Bylaws for advanced polling or proxy vote.
If the contract is ratified by CUPE Local 59, it would then go to City Council for approval.
